Casual weekdays, anyone?
Casual weekdays, anyone?
I love my jobs. Yep. Plural. And I do it all from home, because let's face it... daycare is expensive, gas is expensive, and the rat race just plain stinks.
The last time I had a traditional job was in 2006... since then, I've been exploring the world of working online to try to make a living, help others by posting the resources I find, and keep the flexibility I need to be able to be there for my kiddos.
I've got several different ways of making money online, some of them more successful than others, and most of them based around one simple fact:
Humans, people, are consumers.
We're all consumers! No matter who you are, you buy things you need or want, so everyone has to make money to spend money. I love the idea of being a customer and getting paid back when I tell people about something I already use and love - if I can get paid to share, I so will! It's been pretty awesome so far =).
My goal here is to share with my readers how the things I try working from home with work out for me, that way people can gauge if it's for them or not.
I love connecting people with information they want or need... I happen to be good at finding various information and resources. So, at first I started a Facebook group for this purpose, but I figure I can go into a lot more detail on a blog =).
For now, let me say this: depending on your skills and needs, you can find various different ways to work from home either as a freelance service provider or as an employee for a company who is remotely hired. You can start a business, make and sell products, or do freelance work for pay.
I do pretty much all of the above, so this is where I'll be discussing my daily work-related adventures =).
